Biografia
Julia Nowakowska – psychologist, psychotherapist, consultant, and trainer with extensive experience working with leaders, teams, and individual clients. She holds a degree in Clinical Psychology from SWPS University and a degree in Biotechnology from the Warsaw University of Technology. She completed a four-year Psychotherapy Training Program as well as the Group Psychotherapy School at the Laboratory of Psychoeducation in Warsaw.
She works within the psychodynamic approach, providing individual and group psychotherapy in both Polish and English. She gained her professional experience in a crisis intervention center, mental health clinics, hospitals, non-profit organizations, as well as through her work as a facilitator of support groups and personal development workshops. She is currently affiliated with the Psychological Counseling Center "Pracownia Dialogu" and the Laboratory of Psychoeducation in Warsaw accredited by the Polish Psychological Association and the Polish Psychiatric Association. She completed Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) Training Levels I and II accredited by the Anna Freud Centre, as well as training in Control-Mastery Theory (Control-Mastery Theory Italian Group).
She collaborates with companies and organizations as a trainer and consultant, specializing in leadership development, team professionalization, and organizational transformations-among others, within the Academy of Leadership Psychology, 4Results, and the Values Leadership Support Center. She supports leaders and teams in better understanding psychological mechanisms influencing collaboration, identifying sources of tension, and building organizational cultures based on psychological safety and relational maturity.
In her work, she integrates a psychological perspective with an understanding of business realities and group dynamics. She values authenticity, mindfulness, and deep self-understanding as the foundations of effective action in organizational contexts. She is also engaged in social projects supporting youth, seniors, and people at risk of social exclusion. An active member of the boards of the Polish Psychological Association and the Polish Association for the Integration of Psychotherapy, as well as a member of the Polish and International Society for the Psychological and Social Approach to Psychosis.
